I am a professional software engineer working for a financial services software company. My primary areas of interest are medium-scale low latency data warehousing, distributed web services, and HTML5/JavaScript web interfaces. I work a lot in C++, and enjoy delving deep into its vast and complex feature set. I also use a lot of Perl, Python, and JavaScript. On the side I like to do hobby projects in type-safe functional programming languages like Ocaml and F#.
