I love playing Ice Hockey.

I am a Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst, and I sort of fell into the role over time. It involves a lot of Data Analysis and writing custom code for inline business processes. It's probably the most unique position in my company because I have a hard time explaining what I do to anyone outside of the company, (heck, even to my coworkers). Most of my time is spent automating processes that are manual and interpreting raw data into something meaningful and useful. And I really enjoy problem solving, especially if I'm given the freedom to use creativity in my approach.

Visiting stackoverflow is enjoyable because there's always something new to learn or discover, and it's a great resource to visit when I'm stuck or bored. My current area of expertise is mostly derived with Excel, SQL, SSIS, Power BI, HTML, CSS, jQuery, iMacros, and SSRS. However, I am focused on learning new things like Python, Windows PowerShell, C#, R, and AI/ML.

Unfortunately, I don't post a lot of questions, in part due to the fact that when I start explaining or writing out my questions, I'm usually able to figure out what the problem is... or I find that someone else asked a similar question where the answer can be applied to my question. Also, I do try to answer questions if I'm able, but most of the time, someone else has already answered them.
