Grew up near San Francisco wasn't sure it was the place for me and just by luck and some random opportunities, I found myself living in Berlin. Now I'm a parent first, developer second. Love to cook, get out for a long bike ride, and then sit down to solve some difficult engineering problem.

I'm not really religious about any of technology interests. I've worked a lot on mobile apps, but also server side. I've worked on apps that publish books, ones that do local business searches, DNA analysis, task management for nuclear power plants. I've worked in C#, C++, Java, whatever Android is, Objective C, PHP, Perl, Ruby, Flash, JavaScript... I did Fortran once. And I don't mean a weekend project once upon a time, but I've done all those as jobs. Computers are great and it's great to see how technologies are different and how their creators took different approaches, but also copied each other. Its like food. Sometimes I need a pizza, sometimes I need Kim chi.
