I have been a web developer for the last 14 years joining the original Guardian website team in 2000 and working for them until 2005. I enjoyed a long sabattical in New Zealand, recovering from the madness of the dotcom boom and the fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants world that was web development in the early days.

Since returning to the UK I have worked with local and national charities as well as environmental ngo's. I am a freelance developer always looking for new projects. I am currently working closely with globalfundmedia on their websites.

Nowadays I live on the coast in Devon and like most people strive for a better work life balance, going for long walks with my wife and daughter and our newfoundland dog Ellie certainly helps....
