I am a kid who is interested in getting started in programming, I read a thread here that starting with C will help me get the most of programming and it will make it easier for me to understand other programming language if needed.

I'm still new in programming and communicating with other users but I feel that I'll get used to this after awhile. It's the first step to my goals. (5/25/14)

My personal goal in stackoverflow is to be able to ask and answer proficiently and be able to "boost my reputation" given that I revealed my true name and other info.
