My name is Leonard Paulsen, and I currently reside in the beautiful city of San Diego, California. I am a veteran of the United States Navy (2002-2006), where I held the rating of a STG(Sonar Technician Surface). Along with my training and duties in sonar operations, and maintenance, I was also a member of the Non-Compliant Visit, Board, Search and Seizure team which was responsible for non-compliant international boardings against counter-piracy operations.

My background in computers, and computer programming started in my middle school years. Ever since being given my first computer, I have always been fascinated with them. Although I like the hardware side, programming has always been my passion. Over the years, I have learned most languages out there, but have always centered my attention around web development.

My current primary areas of focus are in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, Angular.js as well as many other JavaScript libraries. I am also proficient in many various frameworks such as express, bootstrap, modernizr just to name a few of my favorites.

I have joined the community here at stackoverflow in order to join the conversations, and be able to contribute my knowledge and experience to those in need, as well as expand my own knowledge and gain exposure to problems that I may potentially run into myself one day.
