Hi, my name is Tom. I'm an embedded software engineer and have been working in the industrial electronics industry for the last two years. In a previous life, I spent 14 years in the defense sector working for the USN and USAF. I have an MS and BS in electrical engineering but prefer embedded programming, though I spent my years in school expecting to be, and there for taking coursework to be, an RF engineer; a significant amount of time working the defense sector included RF engineering, so I'm quite versed there... or was.

Additionally, I eat extremely hot peppers. And I'm not talking about Ghost Peppers... those are for pizza and fear.
