I am a PhD student at The University of Arizona, in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I work in the lab of Dr. Scott Saleska, and the general focus of my research is on the interaction between climate and tropical forests, with emphasis on Amazonian forests. The specific focus of my research is on the relationships between periodic drought, leaf microclimate, leaf traits, and leaf microbial communities.
