Mr. Shalim has been working as the IT Consultant in BACS and IBAS++ Scheme, SPFMS Program under the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, the Government of Bangladesh since March 2023.

Before this position, he was the Analyst Programmer at Square Informatix Ltd from June 2014 to February 2023, Software Engineer at CIBL (Credit Information Bangladesh Limited) from January 2013 to May 2014; Software Engineer in Advanced Software Development from July 2012 to December 2012. Apart from that, he has the freelancing experience to work with Fair Pattern Ltd USA (remote) as a Software Engineer. He has 13+ years of working experience in Bangladesh and has 3 years of remote job experience in the USA.

Mr. Shalim Ahmed earned a B.Sc degree from The Asia Pacific University in 2011. He is studying Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Dhaka. He participated in different training events: (i) on ‘’Microservices Architecture’’ organized by Udemy in October 2022. (ii) on ‘’Network Hacking Continued - Intermediate to Advanced’’ organized by Udemy, in September 2022 (iii) on “Learn to build an e-commerce app with .Net Core and Angular” organized by Udemy, in October 2020.

He participated in international events on Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals organized by Microsoft, technical /financial support provided by Microsoft, September 2022 held in Singapore (remote). Furthermore, attended various national and international events like BASIS Soft Expo 2019 held in Bangladesh.
