i work in the Data Migration Dept as an MS SQL Developer wherein my primary role is to ensure smooth transition of clients from their Legacy software into SQL products whichever they choose to use,my role starts from initial data consulting meets with client and writing T-SQL Scripts for migration of client data from disparate data sources into MS SQL DB,The scope of the work involves Data Analysis, Extraction, Wrangling, cleansing,Transformation &Loading.Once its done,the Migration enters into the QA phase where Data Integrity Checks are done on Database Level and Smoke Testing on the Functional level.
