I'm a UI engineer focusing on Javascript in a frontend context. Alongside working on MongoDB's cloud offerings, I talk regularly about Diversity and Inclusion topics, work with our diversity group at MongoDB, and work alongside our LGBTQ engineers group as well.

Empathy for me is much more important than technical knowledge. I enjoy knowing a language in and out, but it's useless if you're unable to inspire others to grow and pair program without your ego showing.
