When I’m at work sometimes I am a designer, sometimes a Business Analyst but almost always a developer. I love getting my hands on new tools, technologies and things to learn. As such I spend a lot of time working in the front end and the middle tier (mostly c# and JavaScript). Occasionally I let myself get bogged down in the back end just to mix things up.
When I’m not at work I tend to be doing one of few things. Failing as a writer, being lost in a book, enjoying good food with friends (sometimes cooking and sometimes out) or running around a sports field somewhere pretending I am fit and active.
My favourite geeky joke would have to be - A programmer’s wife sends him to the grocery store with the instructions, “get a loaf of bread, and if they have eggs, get a dozen.” He comes home with a dozen loaf of bread and tells her, “they had eggs.”
“The world is a comedy to those that think; a tragedy to those that feel.” - Horace Walpole
