I'm a Sales Engineer in for a steel joist manufacturer with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Since beginning work in 2014 I have developed a hatred towards performing, or watching others perform, tedious tasks.To combat this I have become a self taught C# and F# hobbyist with the main goal of allowing my coworkers and myself to complete our work in a sane manor. The majority of the programs (if you want to call them that ;)) that I have created thus far are add-ins for Excel, Word, and AutoCAD. I have also created a handful of report generators/data visualizers using R, Python, and F#.
