I primarily work as a lab technician for an engineering consultant. My work involves testing and documenting the physical and chemical properties of materials. The lab that I work for is specifically geared towards qualification and failure investigation.

I program in scripting languages as a side hobby. This hobby has spilled over into my professional life. I've yet to determine if this is a blessing or a curse.

Other hobbies and interests include: Art, music; guitar, piano; gaming, cars... stuff.

I've played with:--

python, didn't care for it

java, still need to learn

c#, eh...

vb.net, extensively and took a few online courses. this is now my language of choice for just about everything.

MSSql, extensively to compliment and work with the .net applications.

VBA, Not as much as .net but it definitely comes in handy.

I also very much enjoy working with micro controllers and hardware. The idea of being able to allow logic driven by a small electrical current to affect the physical environment around it just makes me happy as can be.
