I have been developing software for over 20 years. Much of my work has been in a Solaris + Oracle environment, with a focus on Java, SQL, XML, XSL, Bash scripting and Perl (regular expressions are awesome), although I've been working more in Linux + MySQL land of late. I also maintain an interest in web development. Along with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, I have worked with Tomcat and developed both SOAP and REST web-services.

More recently, my focus has shifted towards DevOps on AWS with a healthy dose of Terraform, Ansible, Go, NodeJS, Python & Angular. I've obtained all Associate-level AWS Certifications, as of October 2019.
