I am a long-time StackOverflow admirer. I'm a very amateur Excel VBA macro fan in that I'm not very good at writing code from scratch, but I had enough basic programming training in school to be able to read and make sense of VBA code when I see it.

I thought there might never be a day when StackOverflow didn't already have the answer to a question I was going to ask. But alas, I had a very complex issue for which there was no existing solution. So that's why I'm here "officially" now.
