I have been in the IT industry since the late 1970's. I started programming with BASIC and 6502 assembly language on the Apple II. In the early to mid 80's I worked mostly in telecommunications developing switching systems and routing systems in C and assembly language. I got into networking in late 80's with early Novell, and worked as an IT consultant doing Novell, and later Windows network installation and support.

In 2001 I started working with SQL databases, and spent a few years doing development and management for Microsoft SQL server before getting back into programming with VB.NET and C#. Since 2006 I have been primarily a .Net programmer doing API development.
