Prior to choosing software development as a profession I had studied architecture and later Electrical and Mechanical engineering in college. However, as a young kid growing up I always played with computers, my first computer was a TRS-80 that I would spend countless hours writing programs for and never thought of programming as a profession.
In my final year of college I was taking a C/C++ programming class and as usual was just having fun working on various projects and my professor told me something that changed everything.
