Aspiring Software Developer, My first experience on a computer was in 1996 (nearly 20 yrs. ago to date) and I've loved them ever since. I began running Linux on my own computers in 2010, and attended Dakota State University from 2011 to 2013; but, due to financial constraints, was forced to leave school roughly one year from obtaining my bachelor of science in computer science.
I'm particularly interested in web applications; and, as a result, have spent much of my own free time dabbling with language like ruby, python, PHP, Java, HTML5 and CSS. In college I was trained in C and C++. My preference is for object oriented programming languages.
Prior to learning how to code, I engaged in several custom builds and have worked extensively with Windows (repairing system and software issues). Currently, I have a diverse skill set which includes hardware and software knowledge (upgrades, custom builds, virus and registry problems, application deployment and configuration, and user training).
