I have spent most of my life working as a software developer, initially developing in C/C++ and java, lately in rust and typescript/javascript with excursions into a host of other languages.

In 2012 I quit my position of 15 years as Co-owner and CEO of GIquadrat mbH to go sailing around the world.

Since 2016 - after arriving in NZ and gaining residency here I have establishing a home base in New Zealand.

Starting 2018 I took up regular work again and have since been involved in projects in the IOT and Linux system programming realm and in a project developing Amazon Alexa skills.

In private projects since 2009 as well as during my sailing adventures I have gathered experience in Android native development, web application development using Tomcat / java as well as nodejs / javascript in combination with different frameworks, mainly angular, react, react-native, Dust.js, require.js, jQuery and bootstrap.
