Computer nerd from way back. I started with the Trash-80s, worked my way up to my Apple //e (mine had 128k of RAM!), had a lot of fun with VAX/VMS, before settling down in Linux and Windows Lands. I've programmed in BASIC, COBOL, various machine languages, LISP (that was fun), FORTRAN, Pascal, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript. Hell, I've even done some ALGOL, Modula, and LOGO (anybody remember LOGO?).
I've worked for enormous corporations like Google and Intel, as well as some tiny companies that had trouble making payroll. I've decided that the middle ground is for me, so I work at a comfortably-sized Inttra in Parsippany, NJ working with all sorts of cool technology.
I also train in mixed martial arts and I write novels. I once got turned down by a woman I never asked out, and when I was an undergraduate, managed to kick myself in the head and had to get stitches.
