Beginning programmer, I've started with the LAMP Stack. Plenty to learn. Lots of stuff that I don't know that I don't know.

The community that surrounds programming astounds me. The willingness to help others even if you've just (or never) met. It's very unlike other industries I've observed and worked in, where often it's dog eat dog. I'm striving to get to the point where I can give back in the groups I'm involved with.
