I created my display name, Ess'iele, from the sound of my initials - SCL... cool, huh? I am an enthusiastic intermediate programmer/front-end developer and an avid fan of the Joomla! CMS. I have a solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (including jQuery), although there's still so much to learn. I also have a fair knowledge of PHP. I've just started learning Python and loving it! I've always been a Windows user, but quite recently installed Linux (Ubuntu).

I'm also a singer/songwriter/producer, working under the pseudonym Don Ricardo.

I would love to plough a lot more my time into web/applications development. However, I'm currently employed as a Resolutions (complaints) Manager for the Feed-in Tariff arm of one of the top energy firms in the UK, which unfortunately doesn't have anything to do with my ultimate goal. So I spend my spare time learning as much as I can in order to get where I intend to.
