I believe what Steve Jobs once said, “Design is how it works”

What that means to me is to empathize with people and make easy for them to get what they want. Instead of me telling you how great I am, let’s talk so I can understand how best to help you.

If I can’t help you, I will try my best to help you find someone who can.

How that relates to development is to write the code that is based on helping people get what they want. In a way that is easy to use and understand.
