I cut my teeth on Fortran and Basic back when the earth was still cooling then dabbled a bit in Cobol and RPG before teaching myself C and spending 15 years designing, coding, and testing C applications. I began learning Java in several years ago and became pretty good (IMHO) with AWT and am now exploring Swing.
