I'm a math nerd turned computer programmer. I've got a math degree and one publication in Rocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics (https://www.jstor.org/stable/44239931). After teaching high school for seven years, I decided to switch careers to computer science. Mostly self taught, I've now been in the field for 11 years.
I've worked with the following technologies: C++ (5 years in the PCB industry) Java AngularJS (personal project for the Colorado Marathon Website) Ruby on Rails (current role as a contract developer for State of Colorado)
I absolutely love what I do and it helps me pay for the hobbies I have outside of programming (mainly adventuring outdoors in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains).
I hope my questions and posts are as helpful to others on here as others posts and questions are to me! I can't imagine a programming life without stackoverflow.
