B.A. in math from NYU, Ph.D. in music (composition) from Princeton University in 1974, amateur classical pianist. Taught comp.sci. for many years at Concordia University and Marianopolis College, Montreal. After retirement, took equivalent of B.A. in Linguistics at McGill Univ, Montreal. Obtained CELTA certificate for ESL teaching, then taught English for >5 years at a teacher's college in Neijiang, Sichuan, China. Want to stay in China, so I'm now exchanging letters with an online sweetheart with a view to marriage.
