Since 1979, Don Lekei has been providing a wide range of technology solutions from custom hardware, firmware, and software design to product and business planning. In 2013, Don started a new business providing in-home integrated technology service in the Lower Mainland of BC called Help-My-Tech.ca (http://help-my-tech.ca).

In 1992 Don coined the term “Desk Potato” while designing a satellite receiver that displayed satellite TV in a window on a PC. After the Mosaic web browser was released in 1993, Don started a site called "The Desk Potato Home Page" (http://deskpotato.ca) talking about the shift to the desk from the couch.

In 2012, spending all of your time at a computer no longer means being stuck at your desk. Now all that you need is a piece of tech and the computer is with you wherever you go... the Tech Potato's are everywhere (http://techpotato.ca).
