I step outside to the terrace, a soft breeze runs over me. I sit down and listen to the birds singing on the peach tree as my laptop boots up. Ready to work.
The last 3 years I worked as a web developer. The framework for most of the projects were Ruby on Rails.
In the last couple of months I've began studying machine learning. It's is a really fascinating field, can't wait to learn more and start using it on actual projects.
I try to keep up with our ever changing world by reading and listening to books, posts, tweets. Audio-books are great for commutes, going for a run, working out, or standing in line at the grocery store. You can spend time learning new things when you can’t do much else.
I keep a blog of my own, mostly work related. You can find it here: http://kaizencodes.com
Everybody needs some exercise. Especially us software engineers. I do wing tsun kung fu twice a week, it's amazing.
