I've got a BSc. MSc. PhD. in computer science, and in grad school focused mostly on wireless network protocols. I have participated and won several major Hackathons, including CODE2014 which was at the time the largest in Canada - and was a $26,000 prize. Now, I mostly coach and mentor at them. I founded a couple of unsuccessful startups in robotics (Redtree Robotics) and wireless mesh networks (RightMesh). Currently I'm a software engineer at a robotics startup.
I'm now working mostly in python, but previously have worked extensively in Java, C, C++, Javascript, and PHP. Was a teaching assistant for an m68k assembly course for many years. I've done hobby projects in x86 assembly, go and kotlin.
I've worked on robotics, lots of network protocols and libraries, and various web projects. I spent a year as a web developer. I've taught courses in networking, c programming, operating systems, and micro-controllers.
