My previous background was a ship's marine engineer. I have worked on different kind of ships like car carriers, bulk carriers, very large crude carrier (VLCC), product oil tanker and floating production supply offloading vessel (FPSO). My skills and job on board are revolving around operation and maintenance of machinery, automation, pneumatic and hydraulics, electromechanical, refrigeration and air-conditioning systems and crew management.

Curiosity to how the IT field is changing every industries ignited my interest to learn how to program.
