Making sure that information is stored and retrieved as fast as possible has always fascinated me.
I have many memories visiting the local library as a kid. If I wanted to find a book that was not on the shelves I had to go to a big file cabinet and find the "book card". Today I can just do a quick search in my phone for the same information and also find other places that has the book available. I also remember that there was so much information about the world that was not available to me. Now I can google just about anything and it's fantastic!

To be able to get meaningful data quickly is my passion and that is why I love working with databases.
