Inquisitive professional who loves to be challenged. Working under pressure to meet tight deadlines while delivering remarkable performance is what I do. I began my career in the oil and gas, and maritime industries where I worked as an installation engineer for a small contracting company. My experience consists of engineering design, modeling, analysis and writing installation procedures for pipelines, risers, heavy lifting, mooring, offshore structures, and more. Software that I am knowledgeable in include Orcaflex, Matlab, ANSYS, Abaqus, Mathcad, Visual Analysis and AutoHydro. However, after two years I realized that my passion and interests were in technology, specifically programming where I devoted my focus to solving problems using software.

Over the past 2+ years I have taught myself all the programming languages you see listed on my profile due to self study, and free and paid online resources. My technical skills include Python, Django, Flask, RESTful API, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, Git, Linux, Bootstrap, and R. I also have experience with front-end frameworks such as JavaScript, Angular, jQuery and AJAX.

Although my experience is mostly technical, I have 2+ years of client-facing experience through managing engineering projects, owning my personal tutoring business and freelancing my software skills to clients in need.
