I am a young man named Phillip. I'm twenty-one years old, and I live and work in SWFL. I am currently pursuing a career in the food industry, where I have a background of experience and education. I love preparing fine cuisine for the patrons of my restaurant. However, I have also been self-studying different web development languages for the past three or four years, issuing a good amount of my personal time to reading, writing, debugging (my own and others'), and studying code.
I have come to absolutely love the process of designing and redesigning webpages, applications, and Java programs. The functions and abilities that lie within even the simplest snippets of code excite me. The future holds several possibilities for me right now, which mostly all center around the idea of returning to school to pursue a certificate/degree in software development or web design. I would still, however, like to expand on my current know- ledge at a self-defined rate until the desire to further my education at an establishment is fulfilled. Knowledge is power.
While I may have no formal education in this industry, I possess a healthy appetite for knowledge and a tenacity to excel. I plan to expand my already-desirable skillset, and to refine the items in my repertoire until they are on the cutting edge of web development. I remain pursuant of my dreams, and bring forth my best work in any situation.
