I am a .NET developer who learned to code on Oracle PL SQL and Java. Java Servlets anyone? Today my life revolves around C# and MS SQL. I am the architect for our multi tenant ServiceNow platform supporting many integrations. We use Perspectium message queue to disperse our transaction load to integration servers. I have been doing integrations for a long time, seeing fads come and go, and am pleased with our offering. It offers great flexibility without having to manage plug-ins and pay high licenses fees. Our off-shore team is able to handle provisions without issues and tell me it is fun. PaaS is the future and I have been very fortunate to work on the ServiceNow architecture. I have built ServiceNow "scoped" applications and have really enjoyed the platform. Javascript is probable my most favorite language but you cannot beat the VS 2017 IDE - it is gorgeous. We recently dove into continuous automation with Octopus, my life is forever changed.
