My name is Tomislav Alar and I live in Gospic; a small town in the hearth of Croatia. I've graduated at FOI and have obtained the academic title of Master of Informatics in the year of 2006. After graduation I've started to work as a system engineer in HEP ODS Elektrolika where I still work.

During my college years I was coding in C and ASP 3.0. However upon graduation I've redirected my focus from programming to networking and went for Cisco CCNA. By the end of 2009. I've got my CCNA certificate and shortly after I've passed Cisco Certified Academy Instructor for CCNA exam, thus becoming a CCNA instructor. Working part-time as a CCNA instructor at Algebra, gave me a chance to take and pass CCNA Security exam.

Since computer and network security has always been the area of my biggest interest I've recently decided to learn Python and that's the reason why I've become a member of StackOverflow. Hopefully I'll find time to refresh and expand my knowledge of C once I reach a certain level of knowledge in Python.
