I have been programming for 20+ years, most of that time I have been developing website backends backed by databases.

I have used multiple languages over that time including C/C++, Perl. My current language of choice is Java.

I have some experience with Spring, but am still learning some of the finer points of Spring.

I have extensive experience with payment systems solutions.

I am in the process of learning HTML5, but have been developing web pages for over 15 years, so have a very good foundation of HTML, CSS, XML and Javascript experience.

I also have a good level of database experience having worked with MySQL, Postgres and back in the day even DB2.

I recently left my full time employment for a Cambridge based games company to work on my own projects.
