I was a professional software developer for over 20 years. Core skills: VB5, VB6, c#, SQL. I've also done a little c++ and oracle work: but not enough to pretend I know anything about them in detail.

I became ill, and have been unable to work. I am picking up new skills while I recover (a process which may take some time). Currently looking at MVC with the aim of building a tool for a charity (gratis) in my available time. They get the tool, I get to learn stuff with a practical aim.
