Some things I love:

  • Writing code
  • Learning, whether it be language (programming or spoken), philosophy, medicine, or other
  • Sharing knowledge with others
  • Working out - trail running, casual climbing, weight lifting, hiking
  • Spending time with friends and family
  • Creating things that inspire or help me and can inspire or help others

I'm an Arkansas native, so I grew up spending a lot of time in nature. I loved math and science from an early age and began programming in high school for fun. I loved it right away, but every time I came back to it, life or school pulled me away. I was on the path to becoming a physician which is what everyone seemed to want for me.

One day I started writing code again because some friends had a project in one of their programming courses and I wanted to see if I could figure it out on my own. I never stopped. I've been learning and spending a large amount of my time since then becoming a better programmer and loving every minute of it. Programming is my hobby and hopefully will become my career.

I had already nearly completed a degree in psychology so I went ahead and graduated. I'm now working towards a B.S. in computer science at the University of Central Arkansas. I'm excited for any opportunity to increase my programming skills or help others do the same.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with questions or suggestions!

TL;DR I love writing code and am looking for chances to prove myself to those in my field.
