I'm here to learn. I sometimes ask questions using words which people have many opinions about. Recently it was "blob" and "in the kernel." I looked into it after being told I was off topic and many other things to boot. In Wikipedia there is a fine article on binary code called "blobs" and also I found that developers "deblob" the vanilla kernel using some Python scripts.
It takes much less time and energy to research for myself than turn to Ask Ubuntu. In the other forums I've found misunderstanding and criticism but USEFUL misunderstanding and criticism. I was challenged to clarify my meanings and questions, and led thereby to discover for myself the answers I was looking for.
I'm trying to find how to withdraw my presence from Ask Ubuntu but I spend so little time navigation websites, because I prefer actually writing code and stuff, that I can't figure it out right now and have other things to do.
Anyhow, I'm here to learn, so thanks.
