Research interests include any kind of computational mathematics, mostly involving the theory and practice of the numerical solution to PDEs. In addition, I have interests in fast iterative solvers, numerical optimization, and high performance computing (e.g. parallel or randomized algorithms).

Outside of this, I enjoy D&D, ancient poetry, philosophy, and read an unhealthy amount of Xianxia light novels.
