So many years of experience with C++, Python, and Lua in the service of capital markets and electronic trading of all kinds. I've worked closely with algorithmic trading, FIX, and various market data systems.

I also love to play with Excel. I think it's an excellent prototyping tool for financial calculations. I started out my career writing extensions for Lotus 1-2-3, Applix, and for the last twenty-five years Excel, mainly for the hedging and optimization of portfolios of financial instruments.

It has not been a straight, narrow path; that would be boring. Audio and SIP projects caught my interest for a couple of years, and I have worked on the front and back end of iOS apps using SwiftUI and RESTFul server technologies.

But C++ is my first love, and I remain committed. Capital Markets is my hometown, and market microstructure is my front porch.
