I work for Absolute Software. I have worked on both the Secure Access and Insight for Networks teams, primarily on authentication. Current I am working on transitioning the Secure Access product to being a cloud-first product. This involves primarily work in Java, C++, and JS/TS.

Previously, I worked at Genologics, an Illumina Company. There I primarily worked in Groovy, Java, and JavaScript/Typescript. I help develop a Grails application with a web frontend, called ClarityLIMS. This has brought me in touch with REST APIs, ReactJS, Redux, ExtJS, TypeScript, and many other frameworks. I also have experience with project/build management using Maven, Gradle, and RPM. Before moving to that team, I worked on file and API based integrations between ClarityLIMS and various lab instruments at Genologics. I also spent time at Ocean Networks Canada working on a JavaScript utility for plotting ocean data.

In my spare time I play videos; read fantasy, sci-fi, and non-fiction books; and play/watch/live baseball. I would be interested in picking up some side projects (maybe join an open-source team), but I need to find the time first.
