Informatics Engineer passionate about Web Development, with high level english skills and ten years of experience programming in several languages like Java, PHP and Ruby, developing User Interfaces using HTML, CSS and Javascript, and applying methodologies, practices, frameworks and tools that increment the functionality, scalability, maintainability and usability of applications.

As a programmer, I am not only worried about functionality, usability, scalability and maintainability of the projects which I am involved, but the look and feel of them too.

I spent the first five years of my professional career developing Web Applications in different companies using PHP and Ruby with CakePHP and Ruby on Rails, respectively; in the last five years, I have been working in an adaptation of the Compiere Open Source Web ERP, which works over the Java EE platform and uses DB2 databases.
