I like to work in teams where the ego's are left at the door, with everyone pulling in the same direction and no self promotion is taking place, a surprisingly rare thing in software development unfortunately.

I'm also always on the look out for 'The Smartest Guy in the Room', a syndrome that needs to be ruthlessly stamped out as it leads to nothing but trouble.
