I have many varied interests. My first class in programming was on a TRS-80 (trash eighty) in 1983. I fell in love with programming instantly. Since then, programming has only been a secondary, but ever present, part of my professional and personal life. In the 90's I had several colleges courses in programming languages (Basic, Fortran and C) as an ancillary part of my Engineering curriculum. Later, I taught myself OOP starting with Visual Basic, then C++. Along the way, I picked up some HTML and JavaScript with PHP server-side. As an engineer and tool designer, I've also learned CNC and dabble now and then in Arduino. Now, I'm finding myself in a career change and am focusing more heavily on website development, hoping to make it a full-time endeavor. I'm still learning but beginning to learn more advanced coding in JavaScript.

For fun, as if programming isn't fun ;) I like to make beer, wine and soap.
