Hsien-De Huang (a.k.a. TonTon) is working for Cheetah Mobile Inc. (NYSE:CMCM;Taiwan Agency: Leopard Mobile) and a PhD candidate (IKM Lab., Advisor: Prof. Hung-Yu Kao) in the Dept. Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE) at National Cheng-Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan. For the past few years, he was a Software Developer at Verint Systems (Taiwan), Senior Security Engineer at Acer e-Enabling Data Center (Acer eDC) and Project Assistant Researcher at the National Center for High-Performance Computing (NCHC), Tainan, Taiwan. He is a member of IEEE.

He received his M.S. degree (OASE Lab., Advisor: Prof. Chang-Shing Lee) from the Dept. Information and Learning Technology (ILT), National University of Tainan (NUTN), Tainan, Taiwan. He also was a visiting Ph. D student in the UK for research project “2010 Initiative Research Cooperation among Top Universities between UK and Taiwan" at University of Essex, UK and in the research project “2012 NSC-INRIA International Program - Associate Team (II)” at INRIA Saclay, France. He has been involved in helping to handle 2012 Research Collaboration Workshop for Top UK-TW Universities, 2012 French-Taiwanese Workshop on Energy Management, 2013 Taiwanese-French Research Collaboration on Energy Management, 2013 Research Collaboration Workshop for Top TW-UK Universities, NSC-INRIA International Program - Associate Team (II).

His current major research interests include Malware Analysis, Android Reverse-Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Type-2 Fuzzy Logic, and Ontology Applications. He has developed an open source project which about malware behavioral analysis tool: TaiWan Malware Analysis Net (TWMAN) and Malware Analysis Network in Taiwan (MAN in Taiwan, MiT). Also, he had given talks at HITCON (Hacks in Taiwan Conference) 2014 PLG and Workshop on Understanding Botnets of Taiwan 2014 (BoT 2014) to present this project, furthermore he also present the APKProbe (bytecode analysis for Android malware) at HITCON 2015 CMT.
