I do journalism for the radio and the web. Currently on a sort of journalism sabbatical, building out my toolbox doing qualitative research (and managing the acquisition and cleaning side of some quantitative work).

When I'm not doing that, I'm making stuff in a garage workshop (welding, woodworking, occasional electronics). Currently learning to be (home shop) machinist, which is amazing.
