I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and worked as a Research Assistant in Neuroscience. I spent my time assisting and supervising post-doctoral fellows and students in their projects and managing the laboratory. I also designed a mice breeding room which culminated in a self-sufficient provider for research projects for my lab. During my time there, I undertook two research projects in drug addiction; one of which culminated in a co-authorship in a paper to be published under Nature Neuroscience.
Earlier this year, I decided that research wasn't for me. I'm currently on the path of career change into Computer Science, fulfilling a childhood passion.
As for my list of relevant skills, I have beginning knowledge in HTML and CSS and intermediate knowledge in C++ and Java. I’m also working on writing a simple Android application.
