I am new to programming. I am a non-traditional student (to say the least) having started at 47, studying computer science. I have written in java, c, c++ and worked with HTML & CSS. I actually love math, I just suck at it.

I go to school and teach ballroom dance lessons part time. As a ballroom dancer of 30 years, (and champion at might add) this career change is a big leap, but I've always loved technology and it seemed the natural choice for me. Choreography was and is my main area of expertise and believe it or not, its the same love for creating something from scratch, and getting all the separate parts working together in unison that draws me to programming.

I am still a video game junky, although I find myself playing mostly iPhone games these days because it's so easily accessible. (Miss my Xbox)
